Lighted Christmas Parade Activities in the Alley

Central Church will be serving hot cocoa and hot apple cider from The Alley Tiki Hut before and during the parade. 

Muse singers will be caroling in The Alley beginning at 4:30pm. 

Post 34 Auxiliary Soup Supper

Join Post 34 and the Auxiliary as we enjoy Oskaloosa's Lighted Christmas Parade. 

The Auxiliary will be hosting a soup supper in the banquet room from 5:00pm to 7:00pm. Several soup choices with all you can eat for $8 per person. 

Then head outside at 7:00pm to watch the Honor Guard present the colors at the start of the parade followed by the Veterans Trolley with our veterans and their families. 

Grab a cup of hot chocolate to enjoy the parade with for a free will donation.

Join us for the 36th Annual Lighted Christmas Parade.  This year's theme will be "Heart of Christmas".  You've seen the Painting with Lights in Oskaloosa, come check out the creativity of the parade entries with all the colors and lights. 

The weeklong festivities will include the Young Ambassador Contest, Window Decorating, Home Decorating contests, Gospel Christmas Concert, Merry Little Downtown Christmas and more. We welcome the community to invite family, friends and visitors to make a trip to Oskaloosa.

As you visit the town, you can always get hot cocoa, apple cider or that warm Christmas cup of coffee at the local coffee shop; visit the Alley, decorated for the holiday; visit the quaint little bookstore for a Christmas read; or shop unique shops along the square for that perfect Christmas gift. Come see the lights, grab your cameras, and come celebrate Christmas in Oskaloosa.
