Our 83 bed Skilled Nursing Facility is looking for a compassionate and caring Certified Nursing Assistant, who is interested and motivated in making a difference in the lives of our Residents and their families. The Nursing Assistant will be responsible for offering quality of life services, as well as assisting with activities of daily living, and developing and administering activities for our residents. The ideal candidate for this position is a compassionate professional with a strong sense of discretion and previous experience working in a long-term care facility.
Certified Nursing Assistant qualifications and skills: - Valid CNA license - Excellent interpersonal communication skills - Strong bedside manners - Ability to work as a valuable part of a team.
HOURS: 2:00PM-10:00PM Weekdays, every other weekend, and some Holidays.

Iowa State University Extension and Outreach - Mahaska County is seeking to hire a 4-H County Youth Coordinator. The primary role of the 4-H CYC is to empower youth to reach their full potential through Youth-Adult Partnerships and research-based experiences. This full-time position provides leadership, education and management of Mahaska County 4-H youth development programs serving K-12 youth of Mahaska County. This position requires the ability to manage, facilitate, and deliver youth development programs with dependability and confidentiality; as well as create and maintain internal and external partnerships. Knowledge of ISU Extension and Outreach 4-H Youth Development is preferred.

This job's primary responsibilities are to store and monitor grain storage for corn and soybeans, ensuring that grain is dried to proper moisture levels, and ensuring that grain storage and handling equipment is maintained properly. This position requires providing efficient and accurate service to grain customers and fellow co-workers. This position will require operation of all grain handling equipment, loadout systems, and other equipment as assigned. All Good Manufacturing Practices and Standard Operating Procedures will be followed. On the job training is included. We are looking for an energetic and positive person to join the DFS team!
Assures that customers receive prompt and friendly service.
· Assists with managing grain condition, communicating to Elevator Manager and Outside Lead the condition of storage equipment, stored grain, and grain equipment.
· Operates elevator and yard equipment to move, store, dry, ship, and receive grain.
· Performs and assists with routine maintenance to grain handling equipment.
· Follows sanitization protocols disease control requirements as required.
· Understands and adheres to all processes related to feed safety requirements and demonstrates a commitment to feed safety by ensuring compliance to regulatory requirements.
· Keeps work area and vehicles clean, neat, and free from safety hazards.
· Performs housekeeping as assigned.
· Maintains good customer relations by representing DFS with high integrity.
· Serve on continuous improvement teams.
· Be aware of and accept new technology.
· Maintains a positive attitude and is a motivated reliable employee.
