Position: Full Bloom Crew - Kitchen and Bar Service

Status: Part-time

Business Hours: Shifts are nights, weekends and holidays. Hours of operation Tuesday-Thursday 4-9pm Friday 4-11pm Saturday 12-11pm Sunday 11-6pm. Schedule will be 1 hour prior and 1 hour after hours of operation for opening and closing duties.

Full Bloom Brewhouse is a microbrewery that works to create a connection between craft and community located in Oskaloosa, Iowa. We serve four core and 4 seasonal beers brewed onsite. The location boasts a centralized seating area, 2 upper level mezzanines and an outdoor patio. A key candidate for the position enjoys learning about and engaging customers in beverage products, is a team player who is willing to run both beverage and food service. Customers will be guided to an order station for purchase and pick up of items. A keen sense of awareness of the customer's needs and environment is important.

You don’t have to know all there is to know about beer, but being passionate about connecting people to products is key.

What you will do at Full Bloom

• Greet guests and assist with food and beverage selection
• Keep up to date on products - making recommendations and informing guests of specials while promoting products
• Serve beverages from draft line and coolers - able to learn and facilitate keg changes and line cleanouts
• Cook to order menu items on a rotational level - during high flow times the kitchen and bar will support each other with food service, beverage service and bar backing
• Responsible for ensuring alcoholic beverages are not dispensed to people under age
• Able to recognize when to engage customers on the floor
• Complete opening and closing duties as assigned - including but not limited to beverage prep, food prep, service area cleaning and restroom cleaning
• Take payments for products utilizing POS system

Requirement of position

• Completion of iPACT certification prior to starting on the floor

Working Conditions

Required to stand for long periods - walk, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, stretch, and twist or reach. Pull/push 200 pound kegs short distances to change out product. Fast pace, fun environment focused on high customer service contact.

Pay: $9.00 - $10.00 per hour + Tips
