Southern Iowa Mental Health Center

The mission of Southern Iowa Mental Health Center is to empower individuals and families with multiple issues in moving towards recovery and overall well-being.  We do this by providing a welcoming, comprehensive and caring community mental/behavioral health program through diagnosis, treatment and partnership with helpful local resources.

Getting started with Southern Iowa Mental Health Center is easy!  We do not require a referral.  We accept most insurance plans including: Medicare, Medicaid, Blue Cross, United Health Care and others.  No insurance, no problem! Please call our staff and ask about self-pay discounts and our sliding fee scale and our in-house scholarship plan.

Our services include - therapy, medication management, assertive community treatment team (ACT), access center, crisis services, substance abuse services, promise center (peer ran drop-in center), peer/family support/peer recovery support services
