Northern Mahaska Specialty opened in 2007 with 63-beds as a nursing care facility in the North Hills area of Oskaloosa. In 2017 they had an addition bringing their bed count to 79 with 40 private rooms and 19 double rooms as well as 1 Hospice Room. In 2017 they also expanded their therapy department to better meet the rehabilitation needs of the community. Offering long-term and short term care, Northern Mahaska is committed to celebrating life and helping those in their care live life to the fullest.
