United Way Day of Caring

United Way of Mahaska County proudly organizes this impactful Day of Caring, bringing the community together to make a real difference. This year, over 130 volunteers worked on 29 projects throughout Mahaska County. Starting as early as 8 a.m. and continuing throughout the day, volunteers will lend a hand at residents’ homes, non-profits, schools, and city sign areas. Projects will include painting, weeding, picking up trash, trimming trees, and tackling various other tasks to improve and beautify our shared spaces. This event is a powerful reminder of what we can accomplish when we come together to support our neighbors and invest in our communities.
